Observations Sacred and Profane

Advertised on a church signboard downtown: "9:30 AM - CAPPUCINO SERVICE." Presumably they use the Missale Romano-Seraphicum. And Low Mass is Espresso. Elsewhere, at another church, this one Catholic, the notation: "All Souls' Day Mass: Saturday, October 31 5 PM." Hmmm. If they didn't wear black, then they're really just not trying.*Halloween was once again at our throats this last week. (
